Energeia: Making the Latent Actual

Energeia operates as a research and advisory network formed by economists, policy analysts, researchers, financial strategists and diplomats, with coverage in Latin America and Asia, and nascent in Africa. A central core of experts works side by side with extensive regional and expert networks to facilitate the exchange of ideas, policy propositions for social policy and climate action for innovative proposals that enhance understanding and proactive interaction between government, civil society, and the private sector in key issues in Latin America, Asia, and Africa.

Energeia has worked in Mexico and Latin America since the beginning of the last decade, and regionally in Asia and Africa  since 2006.

Energeia has led multiple initiatives focusing on various Climate Action synergies, and has helped various donors and recipients to organize and launch various multilateral funds and financial support initiatives, including at the IADB and at the World Bank, Energeia has developed ready access to world leading policy and analitycal research resources.

 



What We've Achieved

  • Energeia contributeds to the formation of the Cartagena Dialogue and the Association of Independent Latin American States (AILAC);

  • Energeia has conducted multiple multilateral dialogues informed by modelling and research

  • Energeia has created methodologies for mediated modelling and analysis of multilateral action

  • Energeia has provided negotiation support to several Latin American, South East Asian and European countries Supported EU, G8 and UNFCCC COP presidencies;

  • Energy uses participatory implementation pathways that help to generate, capture and disseminate innovation

  • Energeia creates policy and financial instruments to combine climate action synergies.
